There's a big fish tied to the kelp out there just waiting for me to pick it up tomorrow morning!!!! :twisted:
Paddled around with Vito for a few. Saw Kelvin. I guess you have to be lucky or Andy to catch a fish. No current, no fish. Birds were trying to find something, they were flying real high in the air. |

Bait
Fished a sliding egg sinker, dead squid for a while in Decembers spot. I read a report the Mission Belle made a full tank of squid the night before.
Thought it might be the call. Little or no current. Went south, west and up to T.P. reefs for a handful of Bass. Lots of anchovie everywhere but not packed tight. Metered some squid and mackerel at 130'. No gamefish to be seen. No birds working at all, just a few flying around. Even the sea lions took the morning off just lounging around. I think Monday morning before the storm.
