4/10 Pacific City, Oregon
After moving from San Diego a couple of years ago and moving up to Oregon, I'm finally getting settled into some good fishing spots up here. Most recently, me and another kayak fisher(there are a few up here I realized!) hit up the haystack rock at Pacific City. It's pretty easy to bag a limit on black rockfish sitting right next to the haystack and there is great ling cod fishing in the area as well. The tough part is finding a day that the swells are less than 6 feet and there is no wind.

Nice looking environment up there... if it didnt rain so much, I'd like to live somewhere like that! Keep the pics, and reports coming!

I love the shallow water rock fish! I need to take a road trip!
