Chumming......
Looking for some clarification. Is chumming with bread and or cat food for the purpose of making bait illegal???? Ive seen many use this technique to make bait.
Would it be possible to add a tab for rules and regs so newbs like myself and others can reference and learn. Thx, |

I think bread is legal but I know for sure furitcake is banned. Sometimes its good to just get off the computer and check out the library,or go down to your local tackle shop or marina and see and listen whats going on. Take a ride on your half day or two day sportboats to learn alot. Read some fishing mags. or some non-fiction books. Theres and endless opportunity out there to learn how to fish. Takes many, many years to learn this game. Start now with time on the water......Oh,and I think cat food is banned because of its toxic content.

Probablly wouldn't use any prohibited fish like girabaldi or black sea bass.
I also think that there is a provision prohibiting the use of live tilapia in salt water.
