Sorry, Boring Report. I guess a non-report is a report too.
Went out to the point for a few hours today. Ridiculously summer-like weather. A few bass, one bait bit completely in half, and one gigantic mantis shrimp on a fish trap. Drifted the rivermouth for the last 20 min for a raked bait every few minutes, but nothing stuck. Good luck to anyone fishing this weekend.

Any report is better than none! At least you got to soak up some sun on the water, probably a nice day on the water. I'm crossing my fingers for the weather this weekend so i can get my new ride wet and test drive it! becareful with those "mantis on the barby"!

I would definitely trade your boring report for my skunk at HH!! But the weather was fantastic! (Got skunked last night at Seal Beach, too.)

Thanks for the report!

25-10 feet deep. Looked like infant hali rakes. The mantis was pretty cool. Never seen one in person. It popped off just as I got it to the boat. It was pretty big though, I'd say 10" stretched out. I'm bummed I didn't get a pic.
