Nice, MB was similar last night. I went to mission bay deciding to change it up and decided to buy some 'chovies at the barge. The guy filled up my bait tank and told me $25. WTF? Was this guy ripping me off or is there really no more "kayak scoop?" I only gave him ten and basically told him to suck it, but geeeeez that can't be right.

How big is your bait tank? Did he put in a full scoop?

Sherm-
I have the Hobie tank which is on the larger side, but he crammed nearly a "half scoop" in there (one full pass), which is way more than I needed or asked for. I guess maybe the real question is, do they fill up your bait tank only based on it's size, and you can't choose to have less bait in it? That's was this guy's take on it. To be honest, I just get a feeling that guy tries to charge kayakers for a half scoop, notes it as a kayak scoop on the barge receipt, and keeps the change. It was very odd the way he demanded me to take more bait when I wanted less, then wanted to charge me up the @$$. Then after I went off on him, he backed off and lowered the price to $10 no problem. Sorry for the threadjack... |
