MLPA and surfrider.
MLPA to be discussed at tomorrow's SD surfrider chapter meeting. Anyone planning on going to this? I have a conflict that is keeping me away.

In years past surfrider has been a strong proponent of marine reserves.

The founder of surfrider quit the organization because they were getting into non surfer issues. I surf but I don't support surfrider.

Years ago I was affiliated with the sierra club. Then came the battle over
Yosemite valley usage. When an organization wants exclusive use/control of a resource it's time to realign your aligance! I surf also but the ocean is a resource everyone should be able to enjoy! |
