San Diego bay is ON!
went out about six in the morning on the bay runner couldn’t use the yak, because my dad has an injury. used live bait in San Diego Bay with a Carolina rig and 8 pound test we were able to catch this 26 inch halibut. there was thousands of smelt swimming all throughout the bay. and when we were reeling in we kept seeing Corvina behind the boat flashing, so I tied on a Flyline rig and almost instantly hooked up. this was a good day of fishing haven’t gone out on the boat in a while just testing the motor out and came home with two good fish.
