Newport Harbor Back Bay Spotties
https://www.youtube.com/c/SouthwestKayakFishing
Well the weather, wind, and conditions on the ocean were forecasted to be pretty crappy so we decided to hit up the back bay of Newport Harbor. I haven’t fished there in well over 20 years, so I wasn’t in tuned to what the fish were biting on. That’s ok, It was just great to be back on the water and I managed to catch a couple. Hopefully the conditions on the ocean will turn around and we’ll head back out there soon. Please have a look, share, like, & subscribe!😃 Newport Harbor Back Bay Spotties https://youtu.be/mskGqiktuJQ |

Good to see you made it out, and like the UW release shots. Would also like to see the bump board dipped in the water prior to measuring fish intended for release. It reduces the amount of slime removal -- helping the fish recover faster. I looked up CG-26, Were you on Belknap during the collision?

Glad you were not on there for that, Two years stationed in Italy must have been awesome! I have visited a few ports in the Med. on Merchant Ships -- always interesting.
