Wanted: Yak Gear pontoon mount (advice appreciated)
Hello, I just purchased a used kayak that came with a couple of Yak Gear Pontoons but there are no Mounts on the kayak and I can't find anything that looks like it will accept the male post (attached photo) on the end of the pontoon extention arm. If anyone can point this old guy in the right direction I'd really appreciate it. Thanks, Steve

The photo in original post is pretty dark. Here's a better pic.

Hey Steve,
Yak Gear stabilizer pontoons now use Railblazer compatible star mounts. That must be an earlier version? You might try messaging Yak Gear https://yakgear.com/contact/ Or, If the male post can be unscrewed, replace it with a Railblazer star base component. https://www.railblaza.com/uses/spare-parts/ Good luck. |

Yeah, Railblazer looks like the way to go with this.
