Redondo 06/19/2021 - Targeting Lingcod & Rockfish on the Solo Skiff - Kayak Fishing Adventures on Big Water’s Edge

Went out with my buddy, Kevin, to target Lings and Rockfish. We were on the water a little after 6am and headed south to make bait. It was slow for the first hour at our spot and then the bites started up. We both ended the session with a few nice size Bocaccios. Landed my second 33.5" Lingcod of the season. Unfortunately, my GoPro acted up again so no video for this session either.

Saw you and your buddy while I was out with my friend. Congrats on the ling. It was a much tougher day for us, glad to see someone catch something 👍

Thanks Mark! I rather have a yellowtail over a ling any day though.

I’ll be out of commission for the next 3-4 months so hopefully you’ll be posting up some videos soon. I just may go stir crazy otherwise 🤣

Hey Thanks. There were a few yaks out there that day, not sure which one you were in. I should make a point to say hello to everyone out there, but everyone was concentrating really hard so I didn't want to disturb their peace.
