First White Sea bass. Just a touch short!
Struggled with the sheephead this morning so I took off and chased birds around found some bait and trolled them around. Put a fresh bait on and while I was letting mine line out I got a backlash. Somehow the line ended up getting cut on the reel. While I was pulling in the line the bait got slammed pulled for a hook set and bam I was on. Fought the fish to the boat luckily it was a smaller one or else things could have been real interesting. Went for the gaff but the fish was to small and lipped him right into the boat. 26.5” lost one bait to a barracuda I think.
