At that price it's going to be hard to get a fully loaded kayak. I do have a 15 ocean kayak with a Werner paddle, upgraded seat, round center hatch for storage. Boat also has a rudder with the sale. I'm going to post the kayak in the for sale section this weekend. Excellent fast kayak too and the paddle makes staying out all day a breeze.

$400 alone will barely get you a decent Fish finder. Go to Walmart buy a cheap kayak and a PDF, then add on as you go.

How much do you weigh and what type of fishing are you planning to do? This way others can chime in what would fit the bill. I started out with a Malibu mini for its size it was a tank. I'm only 140 lbs but 5'11 and it was comfortable. Great for lakes and bay fishing. Good luck with your such

Sound like your possibly a younger kid right? Maybe post your age and experience. And maybe anything else you might be needing. Plenty of older guys here with old gear sitting in a garage that would be willing to donate if it went to use. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

With that budget, it will be hard to find something with everything you're looking for. Since you're on a budget, here's a budget-friendly bait system a friend and I made. They're great for cruising around the harbor or in calm water, but it's not something you'd want to be dragging around in strong currents or headwinds. Super easy to build. All you need:
5g Bucket Pool noodle Rope Large zip-ties Drill w/ 1/2" bit If you want to go crazy with it, I cut out the lid, then used a propane torch to smooth out the edges of the lid. I also used it on all the internal drill holes so there are no sharp edges for the bait to cut themselves on |

try offer up, letgo, etc. I have seen kayaks for relatively in expensive. perhaps you can find an older model tarpon, or OK prowler for inexpensive and then have some dough left over for the accessories.
In my experience get the kayak you want first and everything else second. just my .02
