LJ 6/6 Beautiful
Bait was little tough, made several at the kelp line. Saw a couple yellows early threw a jig passed them and watched one follow it all the way yakside...grrr. Threw a jig on another swirl for the single largest bonita of my life. Atleast 13-14 lbs...HUGE! Had no use for him so sent him back. Then 20 mins later zzzzzzzzzz on the mack short fight to the kelp, tangled me but got my mack back with smashed head and sandpaper marks. Barries and bones everywhere filetting my macks like crazy. Came in from perfect glass about 11. Water was kinda cloudy, clean, but somewhat murky. Nice to see you out there Dennis. A bajillion boats, couple kayakers. Beautiful day on the water regardless of no yellows. Just glad to be paddling in "America's Finest City".
