Cabrillo 6-28-19
Late start, on the water by 10. Water was 63 at the surface. Much clearer than two weeks ago. Wind blew all day, manageable but the drift was fast.
Fish were all right in the kelp. First five fish I caught all wrapped themselves around kelp before I dragged them out. final count: 11 Calico's only one that was close to legal 1 Sand bass 1 Spotted bass, never caught one of these here before 1 Probably copper rock fish, please let me know if you think it is something else.
