Niiiice.
I picked one up from eBay in December and I love it so far. Not crazy about it for dropping to the bottom repeatedly on rockfish, as the gears kinda grind if you’re not careful on the clutch. But my torium is good for that, and I can keep it rigged up for casting. |

I just got a 300 from Squidco at Fred Hall...
What kind of stick have people matched with it? |

I'm waiting until taxes are clear and I'll be getting one for my 8' H Okuma inshore stick. Should handle everything but bottom rigs...

Thanks guys.
I spooled it with 50lb braid and 30lb fluoro top shot. I cannot afford a good rod to match this reel with (or should I say that I my secret cash stash is dry and my wife is still around) I got a 6’6 heavy rod from bass pro shop on sale and it feels decent. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
