4/17 LJ [Cough, Cough]
Called in sick to work this morning so I could put in a few hours before I do my daily daddy daycare. On the water around 5am and had bait shortly before sunrise. Wind was up a bit at greylight but subsided after sunrise. Trolled a bit then soaked a flyline, a weighted bait and a deadstick iron looking for an unlucky ling. Nothin doin. Back in by 9am. The surf was pretty mixed up but got in and out dry. Tons of bait. Trolled over some thick clouds. Both bottom and mid column. Dropped the deep iron on them and picked off some big greenies and spanish. Seemed like the fleet was in for some good weather.

Thanks for the report Nate, those are the kind of sick days I like... hope my boss isn't reading this either.... Not much to add on the PM shift, dirty green water, plenty of bait, medium downhill current... no fish.
