Tamarack Beach Launch
Been doing lots of exploring... this beach was an easy launch yesterday. Probably be doing more from here. Parking is free and was even greeted with a beer from a beachgoer that just wanted to check out the setup. Wondering if anyone has had any luck in this area and what to target. Sorry if i'm blowing up with posts, just having fun learning areas.

Must have been too windy or too much current to see. I couldn't find them yesterday. I went there last year in my X Factor and spent the rest of the day paddling against the current trying to get back to Tamarack... Hobie pedals are amazing... what current? haha. |

It's a hit and miss out there. You are directly outside the kelp line in that photo. It's pretty thick out there but sometimes hard to see depending on the tide.
This is me a few weeks ago from there. Yellowtail And this was last week. Sand Bass

If you park on the other side of the harbor near the Harbor police station there is a dock where you can park for free and launch your yak off the dock. It's where all of the seals have been hanging out.
