Newport 8/5/17
Another fun day on the water in the OC. Launch was crowded at 5:50a. Forecast was pretty accurate until about 11a, wind picked up fairly stronger than the prediction. All good as that was right when I got my limit Mostly nice size Reds, a nice Starry and the kicker Red below that taped out at 22" with one of the biggest heads on a Rocky I've seen. Ended the trip fishing turd rollers off the beach, all released of course. Beautiful day on the water. Tight lines!

Nice RED! Good to see some action on the bottom. Maybe I will go search around and try to find a school for myself out there. Been a little while since I have fished out NB. I am absolutely not against a bag bag of reds.
