San Onofre yak access?
I'm camping on the bluffs at San Onofre this weekend. Anyone know if I will be able to get my kayak down to the beach very easily? I've never been there, looks like a pretty gnarly hike down.

I believe your San o camping pass will give you daily access to "old"mans.
this thread may get you excited. http://www.bigwatersedge.com/bwevb/s...ghlight=onofre Reality Check. This place can be a legit surf break. And... there are nice sized great white sharks out there . |

Three Sano Spots to launch
Yes Sano Surfbeach down south of Dogpatch is looking a lot better. The rocks are gradually being covered with sand.
If you are camping at the bluffs and you're willing to hike about a 1/4 mile Trail 6 or Trail 1 are possibilities. Here are pics of Trail 1 and Trail 6 from a couple of months ago. Trail 1 on bottom |
