Not bad at all
The Father of my nieces BF caught this yellowfin tuna on a boat out of San Diego yesterday -- 235 pounds.

That is an awesome fish if that's what it weighed, but so many details are left out of your post. Was this a 3/4 day, full day, 1.5 day, 3-4 day or longer fishing boat out of San Diego? You can't tease us with this lack of information, it is instrumental in anyone thinking they can jump on this such and such boat and get so lucky. So what length of trip was it? Which boat? Thanks ahead for your answer.
Aaron

That is not a Yellow Fin Tuna (YFT) That is a Blue Fin Tuna (BFT) Probably a Yummy Flyer Kite fish. SD 3/4 day and up are catching them.

Identifying BFT vs YFT: http://www.onthewater.com/identifyin...ellowfin-tuna/ What kind of tuna did jorluivil post? Pectoral fins are short. --- This 240 pound tuna is identified as a BFT from one year ago. It looks like the pectoral fins extend past the second dorsal fin (?) http://www.grindtv.com/fishing/massi...uard-summoned/

^world domination?
I've heard about taking the Pigskin Bus into Tunatown. Here's a good looking tuna festival that might be just the place: Make Tuna Great Again http://www.maketunagreatagain.com/
