Huntington Beach Harbor 7/3
Launched at the boat launch around 4pm. Headed toward the docks instead of the bridge because there were too many boats out. Fished for about 2hrs and managed to catch 6 spotties, all were short.

2nd post and it was a fish report, way to go. I cant imagine going out to NPH on a summer holiday weekend which is why Im going out this Sunday. I usually head out to open water but looking that the fun seems to be in the harbor I plan on trying open water for 2 hours then hit harbor for a few to play with the spotties. Thanks for report

Good day for HH, congrats. Of course I almost always eat it there. Kinda hate the place.

Does the boat ramp have certain hours or can you just feed a gate machine 24 hours to come and go as you please? I'm going to attempt to take a Hobie tandem island with an outboard motor on it under the bridge and out to the Bay. I talked to the Coast Guard and they seem to think it would be okay. As long as I had a powered boat.
