When? Jackson Cooda FD
After speaking to reps at FHS they said it would be arriving March/Spring 2017. Well its just about Summer and Im looking at the Hobie Outback with Vantage seat, but if the prices are the same I want to check out the Cooda. I know all you Hobie fans will scream Mirage drive or nothing and I get that and probably agree seeing I test drove pedal drives at OEX demo day and the Hobie felt better and I really loved the rudder as it easly out turned all other yaks I tried. What I don't like about the Outback is lack of stock rod holders. I hate the idea of having to drill/install stuff when your paying upwards of $3K for a yak. The Cooda seems to have all that BUT It looks like its lacking a true rudder and I cant find more info about it.

In addition of (4) rod holders, how many additional holders do you need?
A simple crate with rod holders will allow you to carry many additional rods behind the seat of any kayak. There are some creative ways to make the crate functional on YouTube. |

I don't recall 4 rod holders on the Outback... but that is plenty. |
