Launched at coast guard station around 6am with two friends. We had to push our kayaks thru knee-deep mud due to low water level. Outside the harbor, the current and wind kept carrying us in SE direction all morning.
Slow slow day. One shark on squid strips. It broke off the leader while I was trying to figure out how to remove the hook without getting bit. There were about half a dozen kayak fishermen out there still when we headed back around 11am. |
