Solo's Finally Here!

The long wait is finally over - and I had it in my possession a mere 10 minutes.
Picked up the skiff at OEX after work, and went straight over to Blue Seas Fabrication at Dana Landing and dropped it off. Tomorrow they will use their precision laser measuring system to measure all the deck surfaces and hatches for SeaDek EVA Foam padding installation. My Caribbean Blue/Blue Camo SeaDek material arrived on Monday and was just waiting for me to drop the boat and artwork off for a custom install. Those who follow in my footsteps will already have the patterns there on file. Stopped off at AAA on the way home and got my CF numbers - registration with the freshwater quagga mussel sticker for the local lakes was $65, good until 2019. Saturday, I'll spend the whole day farting around Mission Bay breaking in the motor and enjoying the boat.

Congrats! I really want to see more on these. Motor and skiff price is around the price of a pro angler. They sure can put a dent in their sales...

Reminder, trailers are not allowed for Sentri Pass.

In case you decided to use a trailer to take it to Bob's place.

No - I knew from the start a trailer is a no-go.

It will travel exactly as you see it - or up on top when I get the winch system worked out...
