Its super slow on BWE... not anymore!!
Went out today to a parking lot on the inside... decided I'd head off in my own direction, good decision!! Got this guy on a light set up( Lexa 300 diawa MH calico special), drag buttoned down could only slow this beast! 30 min later and a couple hundred yards, I finally got em in the boat!!
Personal Best 36lb 42" weighed by the DFG chick in the background. Haha |

That's a sweet catch, my brother and I were out there for a skunk. Did you hit this one on the flat fall? I think I heard you over the radio.

Congrats to both you guys. Saw a few others being brought in a few days ago, but a friend and me only got some short bites. Hoping it will be my turn on the next trip. It is good to see that the bait has come back in good numbers. Thanks for sharing.

22lbs
It was a gift from one of the old school kayakers here on BWE, luckily I had it serviced with new drag and bearings.

Inside
To me the inside is anything north of the condo, in waters 60-80 feet. This is were most boaters and kayakers Hunker down. I'm not really a fan of that area, except once a year! Shhhhhhh. Otherwise I'm always moving man, watching and listening!!
Good luck! |

(Thinks ... "inside" means inside. What's inside of what?) [headscratch] The infamous "NW Corner" always bugged me too, until I finally figured out it means NW of the kelp beds. Duh. BTW, I know where the "parking lot" tends to be. That one is obvious. It's a place I prefer to avoid. Maybe that's the same basic area as "inside"? I'll stop trying to dissect the meaning of words now. GPS coordinates, headings and compass references are easier for me to follow. There's a lot of water out there. Indeed, ...... Next round is on me! PS - just figured out what "Based" means, .... as in "Based Stick Man" (I would guess he knows how to subdue feisty halibut.) OK, I can accept that one We're all pretty based around here. As a way of life, it's not a bad way to be.

I think Most refer to inside as inside the point or some would consider as far as inside of (The Half)
