Saw one 2 or 3 hundred pounds in San Diego Bay off Ballest point
It swim right under my canoe I tried to get a picture but ran out of time....I'm wondering if the mackerel in my bait tubes attracted it
...big brown thing coming my way I was working a mackerel on the bottom, and thought it was kelp till I got close like 5 ft under me and it lifted it's head up and I could see a big brown sea turtle.http://iswfsc.noaa.gov>texblock Web didn't go through if you want the history of sea turtles in san diego Google sea turtles San Diego bay

I saw one off marine room too
Snorkeling it was the size of a hub cap I followed it for
alittle while, but the one yesterday I had my trolling motor on 1 going with the incoming tide fishing a mackerel on the bottom and I saw a big brown spot thinking it was kelp coming my way I grabbed my pole to keep from tangling in it as it got real close I could see it's head tried to reach in my pocket to grab my cell phone for a picture but to late it was going by my trolling motor and headed out to sea as I watched the brown spot fade away....I'm wondering if the mackerel in my bait tubes brought him so close
