Heading down to either Shelter Island or Mission Bay this Thursday. Anyone else planning for one of those 2?

No FF right now, so I want to hit some place I know. Besides, I'm not much for La Jolla !I know I'm a small minority!

Not this week, unfortunately. I wanted to get out on Friday, but it looks like I'll be land locked for a few more weeks.

How long does it typically take you to get to those spots around SD from your area (OC?) I'd like to pick your brain a bit later on decent spots around the LA and Orange Co area....

Takes me a little over an hour for mission bay. I live in Lake Forrest.

That's awesome. I really don't mind driving to get to fish. I used to drive from Tucson to Phoenix almost weekly to get on 2-5lbs bass. LOL

Tomorrows wind will be an offshore wind which is more favorable than onshore for fishing. Id rather fish in 20 mph offshore wind than 10-15 mph onshore. Blows you out to the spot faster.

Supposed to be blowing 28-41mph in San Clemente tomorrow. That's just not safe in my mind.
