Should I buy a 2017 outback?

Hi everyone new to the site and still new to kayak fishing. Thinking of buying a new 2017 hobie outback. What are some cons to owning one? Is it hard to load by yourself on a mid size sedan?

Yes.

Make sure "BLEM" is not stamped on it.

the outback is one of the best yaks for fishing, its a fishing machine...not sure why you would need to check for the word blem?

referring to another thread about someone who bought a blem but didn't know it when he bought it and his trials and tribulations on getting the dealer to make good on the sale.

What baja traveler said. Hobie does not sell blems. Outbacks are a Nice piece of plastic to fish from.

Get the larger sailing rudder. Plan for some geartrac in the future as you plan your build.

If/when you buy your Hobie make sure you ask for the Team Sewer package upgrade.

How about a 2011 Hobie Revolution? I'm selling mine. It is loaded w/FF and all!

As an accessory you should get a second mirage drive for when yours breaks. Or you could get a man's kayak with a full carbon blade and a ripped pair of lats to go with it.
