Water temperature 63+
Bass are moving deep for winter mode, 20 plus feet.
There maybe a few shallow. If you look up the bank that's what you will see under the water. With a lot of trees, brush And rock ledges I think your best bet is drop shot....unless you can find soft smooth bottom for Texas ,carolina,Alabama rigs. With a local lake tip I decided to fish the fluke which is new to me.That will be my go to rig when I drop stop.the weather report was right on I had 20 +knot winds blowing solid from the west side of the island about 1 o'clock and trolling motor battery running low,so I decided to head to east side of lake to get out of wind...had my trolling motor on 3 and rowing with two fishing poles out but no such luck finding calm water. The wind was blowing straight out of the northwest so I reeled in both poles and headed back to the launch a nice sold hour of rowing with trolling motor on 3 and bow in wind it would have been disastrous with out my dagger keel or as some call it my sling/blade...it was fun rowing in the wind went home feeling reel good got my water fix for the week
