chrome plated bait hooks
I've always been under the impression the chrome bait hooks are bad - the reason being that they will not rust out.
I see more and more chrome bait hooks, on the beach and in pics of fish. I'm I right or wrong about the use being bad for the fishery? |

bronze vs chrome
Bronze hooks get bit way better than chrome! That is a fact! They will both eventually rust out.

I mainly use ringed Gorilla hooks, I think that cost me a WSB last week, and my bid to run the table on the WCW...
While, I am willing to pay for Owner hooks, for some reason, I use the bronze hooks sometimes, they are just cheaper than nickle...or chrome. |
