November Day on SD Bay
My brother FishingMike and I got out on SD Bay just after sun rise. The air was cool but the water was warm in comparison. Caught a small Sand Bass and a mackerel on the troll. Fishing Mike caught a barracuda on a troll. Water on the bay was like glass up until 1030 in the morning. Got a couple Sand Bass and spotted bay bass and lots of mackerel. Hooked a good size Bonita but could not land it. Everything I threw caught something with the exception of my crock. Even caught a few on a sliver a squid.
At about 10:30 the tide came in bringing in the kelp and grass. The sailboat race crowded us out. Good day to stock up on catfish bait. Anticipating tomorrow will be similar. Fish well. |
