Newport, 10-14-16
Landwhale and I launched at 6:30 and hit the bouy line like normal. Water was clear and a cold 60-61.5. Wind was a slight SE. Cloudy skies.
After about an hour of few bites and no fish we both moved in close to the docks. While we never really got on them, the was where we got all of our fish. I started off with a short spotty that ate a 4" paddlerz in houdini. A while later i nabbed a nice legal on a 4" paddlerz in red bone. A long while after that, i got another short. That one ate a 4" paddlerz in bad shad. All baits were on a 3/8oz Warbait heads in fire cracker. Hot Sauce for flavor.
