120K for poaching OUCH!!!

It would of been a little cheaper had they bought it at the fish market.

Just one of the reasons I buy a license and not get upset about it. Good job DFW.

I'm sure they know now!

You have a constitutional right to fish, hunt, poach, take whatever you want, and as much as you want. It's guaranteed by the constitution, and the california constitution, and the bill of fishing rights, also approved by the CPA (California Poachers Association). You don't need a fishing licence!

I would Estoppel the evidence and file a escheat immediately! Take these steps to pro se innocence you will resjudicata the hearing and exparte you emminent domain.

I am glad they busted and prosecuted them. I cant tell you how often I see people keeping fish that should be tossed back. Some people just dont care. Its interesting how it seems most these offenders are from a certain far east country.

Yeah, people complaint about a fishing license. Its use is disputable. But laws around the sizes of fish you can keep make way more sense. Also laws around what species you can keep and when you can obtain them make sense.

They said these guys had 3 lobsters (2 weeks out of season), and 12 abalone. I pointed out how the commercial fishing industry wrecked the abalone and had to result to farming to keep up with commercial demands 4,400,000 lbs of abalone fished. And lobster brought in almost 900,000 lbs (same numbers it did in the 60's. Meanwhile, we're exporting most of these two things to China, Vietnam, etc. So nobody gets pissed at millions of pounds of our resources being exported for profits, and yet are outraged over 3 lobster and a dozen abalone??

And at the same time, misuse the word poach, negating the legal definition of the word

DEEP? DEEP?

I think we have gone off the deep end here!

A poaching thread turned into Asian poachers, scientific graphs, constitutional rights, learning about the definition of certain words, black drive by shootings, doubling down on Asian poachers, public official corruption, conspiracy theory, memes by the meme King...

What next?!
