Help! Fish finder or Bait tank!?
Situation: planning to fish newport beach tomorrow. Maybe 2-3 miles out of harbor. But forgot my 12v battery for fish finder at home!!
I have a lowrance chirp 4. My bait tank runs on a 6v battery. Should I run the chirp on the 6v and keep trying to catch bait on the way or fish blind and have a tank full of bait? Suggestions please! |

I don't think the Chirp will run on 6V.

The mouth of the harbor especially towards the north jetty is usually a sure ticket for bait

What route you taking from the inland empire? I am in Fullerton, not far from the 57 and can leave a 12v on my porch if you promise to return it on your way home
