Mission Bay Classic Results
We had 160 entries with 132 entries signing in. Break down was 35 entered the halibut division and 97 entering the bass division. The big number to throw out is we as a community, with the help of companies support generated over $12,000 for our chapter of HOW. This was from your entry fees and raffle ticket purchases topped off with Eric Noonan and the Geo Group presenting a $5000 check to Heroes on the Water So Cal Chapter. Killer weather and an impressive record breaking attendance overshadowed the slightly lackluster fishing. No halibut were weighed in with 1 lost at the boat. Only 27 bass were weighed, 14 inches can make for lots of shorts. 1st Place Chuck Long 5#8oz 2nd Place Jeff Bias 5# 3rd Place Cameron Chang 4#7oz 4th Place Derwin Chang 4#6oz 5th Place Will Bowen 3#11oz 6th Place Michael Vint 3#7oz 7th Place Don Faughnder 2#8oz 8th Place Kyle Walczak 2#5oz 9th Place Gary Bowers 2#4oz 10th Place Todd Pierce 2#3oz 11th Place Jason Harlog 2#2oz 12th Place Justin Ortega 2# 13th Place Vincent Marzi 14th Place Mark Kleiter 1#13oz 15th Place Kerry Peeler 1#12oz 16th Place Gabriel Vasquez 1#8oz 17th Place Dylan Moore 1#4oz Biggest bass weighed: Cameron Chang 2#9oz, thanks to Jeff Bias for donating the Curado 200 prize!
