Looking for an Avet SX OR MX single speed, magic cast is a plus.
Thanks Jay |

I regret spending more for magic cast...
By the time you figure out the right settings for that size lure it's time to switch up and do the same process again.. And for me I tend to forget when I'm using the reel with magic cast and one without so better to be consistent. Also you don't cast as far with magic cast... That extra friction slows your lure down.. As much as it pains me to say this, I agree with Tony. SXJ or MXJ are great for kayakers. 😊 |

Tight. I have an SX 5.3 w/ magic cast and love it. I feel the MC has saved me from nesting enough times to be worth having. Just in the market for another variant. Here's a dumb question... Anyone have an MXJ they want to part with? Located in SD.

Have a black sxj with mc I might be willing to part with. What are you offering? I could use a nice spinning bass rod if you got one for trade.

i would also recommend the narrow series of the two reels. the reel fits nice in your palm and laying the line is easier since its a narrower spool.
