'Bu, NY Eve. Fish ID?
Took the new kayak to kelp beds at Leo Carrillo on New Years Eve for a quick maiden fly fishing voyage, and got hit on my first cast:
Soon after, I got the guy below. At first I thought he was a weird-patterned Calico, but now I'm not sure what he is. Googling around didn't help with an ID, any ideas? Andy |

The first fish is a Calico for sure. The second one is too, i guess but not too sure

2 is an olive rockfish.

Congrats. On the fly too. Thrusday you could have kept it. Yesterday it would have to be released.
