Eastern Sierras
I made a reservation for campsite #24 at Silver Lake in the June Lake Loop for the last 5 days in May...I hope the weather is good...if not... we'll hit Rush Creek, like we did last year !
Crawdads and Trout for dinner and a couple of breakfasts at the Silver Lake Resort. I can't wait...! ![]() ![]()

Uggghh. I remember your last Sierra bug report. So jealous. Maybe I'll be able to make it out there next year.

campsites
Reservations for campsites can be made 6 months in advance at the Forest Service website. Just google USFS Silver Lake, June Lake Loop.
I'm not offering to be anybody's tour guide or plan your itinerary...but I will host a Crawdad boil one night if any kayakers decide to go up to The Loop during that last week of May. ![]() ![]()
