Pig for Season Opener

Made a last minute call to go out last night. And pulled up this guy. I was using Bonita for bait nice a ripe. I know it's short and sweet report, but enjoy! 2L bottle used for size comparison!!!

Nice beauty. One that size makes it worth the trip, we're thinking a poor eating big bug due to it's size is still a GREAT eating dish.

Pig

I think the picture with your son really shows the size comparison much better than the bottle.

That's a 2 liter bottle next to that bad boy?

Jeeeeezus that's a nice one! Let us know how it tastes. I usually don't grab the big ones when I dive. I have always heard they aren't as sweet plus the meat can be a little tuff.

Nice catch

The big ones aren't as tender or sweet...as the smaller bugs...
So...stirfry or a pasta dish is a good way to go with the bigger tough ones.
