We all lost a fishing friend today
We lost Marty Milner today. He was a known nationwide as an actor in Adam 12 and Route 66. He was also known here in Southern California as a co-host of the "Let's Talk Hook-Up" radio show. He loved fishing and talking about fishing.

RIP Mr. Milner,
One of the few heroes of my youth that sparked my desire to make law enforcement my career. I remember the TV show, and two red lights flanking a center siren on top of the patrol car vividly. Times change, and life goes on, but with great memories.

I was fortunate to fish with Mr. Milner on a Bob Marriott arranged (Milner sponsored) Fly Fishing trip to the San Juan River in NM back in '97. Possibly the best "tail water" trip I've ever been on! He was a very "down to earth" person who loved to talk fishing.
One Adam-12, Code 42. RIP FFY |

I had the opportunity to stop by his house a couple times in the early 80's and I use to see him cruzing del mar in his old blue chevy II wagon quite often. Cool guy, he will be missed.
