9-8 LJ Report
Sorry to say not much to report. Launched before dark and made 4 greenies at pier. Tried a bit north of the pier first to check out an area that seaforth has been fishing. only got a ray that killed my bait. no marks but deader than a door nail. Proceeded to cross the canyon til I arrived in front of the condo....probably 150 ft of water. Seal lions were crazy today. Had to be real careful to get the bait out of the water when they would make there appearance. Lost several baits to dogs but all good........their house not mine. Fished hard until after 12 noon for nada. Only a few yaks on the water and did not see any fish being caught. Launch and landing no problem. Water still super warm. Wondering where all the yellows went. Conditions still look super.

Hey there Murry, Saw you over by the pier early. My bait tank was not working, as I was giving the rig a madian voyage. Went in and fixed it, then back over by the point. You'll get'em next time!

Unless you were fishing the bottom with a dead bait to begin with, I would guess YT. Batrays have a real tough time catching anything alive that has any kind of leader. And both will crush the life out of a bait without tooth marks.
