Your go to for YT when you can't make bait
Just a quick question. What is your favorite trolling lure for YT if you can't make bait? I had a guide suggest a rapala x-rap 15 or 20. I bought one of each and tried the 15 when I ran out of macs. It didn't get bit and was a bit of a workout to keep it up to speed. Has anyone else had success with this? What else do you troll? I prefer trolling as it allows me to cover more ground when I'm not marking schools.

I like these
http://www.meltontackle.com/products...FZKBfgodYSsDFA They are easier to troll because the lip is narrower than the Xrap. Have had good luck with the dorado and bonita patterns. 7" |

I don't know about using it with kayak due to lower speed; but with a slow motorized boat, My go to is,
Salas 6X jr. particularly in scrambled egg color. White and blue plus white and mint is great too. |
