This is a short one. Landwhale and I launched about 6:30 to clear skies, muggy air and no wind. It started slow and stayed that way. Water was 71.5º and very clear. Current was ok to start, but went slack.
We worked all our normal spots. I ended with 3 legals and nothing else except lots of short bites. 2 ate a 5" Sexy Mullet Paddlerz on a silver 3/8oz Warbait head. The other fell for a 4" Smokey Shad Paddlerz on the same Warbait head. Hot Sauce definitely made for more bites. Other than that it was hot once the sun came up. Always good to fish with Steve though. Hopefully next week will hit Capo again for some biting bass.
