1st post...Pt. Fermin

I vowed to not contribute to forums ever again but most on this forum seem to be good guys so I decided I've been lurking here long enough and thought I'd better contribute SOMETHING. My outings pale compared to others posted here but if they help a guy with a couple hours catch a few more bay bass before sunset, it's good. Hopefully this works...

Yesterday, launched at Pt Fermin about 6:30 to glassy conditions and small surf. Threw a variety of stuff for not much. I had my best luck fishing a freshwater plastic crawfish bait on a sled head real slow. That yielded a number of small bass and one decent one. Had no luck with swim baits. Many, many short bites today and I had a number of fish come unbuttoned early. Still a fun morning in really nice conditions. Name: image.jpg

That's a nice looking bass you caught. The background on your picture looks like a good spot. Thanks for sharing and welcome aboard BWE.

Nice first post. I appreciate the post. I'm thinking to fish that area next Saturday.

Thanks for posting n showing there's more to Cali yak fishing than LJ. Did you stop posting cause of trolls/fools trashing on you? There's not much of that here, thankfully. Mike
