A smoker for Yellowtail
I know zero about how to smoke fish.
I'd love to try and make smoked Yellowtail. Can someone point me in the right direction for instructions and equipment? Thanks |

Ask Yanni, Kayakfisherman, or watch his videos/website (google fisherman's belly): https://m.youtube.com/channel/UC3GeusKvA-j46kCK-lKrAtQ

I just got a mini chief. Cheap and simple, works great for small batches.

I dont have a dedicated smoker, but had good results with my gas grill. Put the damp wood chips in a foil pouch, punch some holes to let the smoke escape. Only light one burner and adjust flame as needed. A good thermometer is a must. If you have problems getting the temp low enough, place the fish on the warming rack further away from the burners.
