La Jolla Friday 7/31
Overall a slow day. Fortunate to get one to go on the way in. Yellowtail was full of red crabs. Tough making bait at pier. Fish caught on spanish mac. Did not see anyone hooked up all day. Launched a bit before first light and off the water by noon. Maybe full moon had them eating at night or maybe an afternoon bite. Ankle slappers on launch and landing. Pretty much lake like conditions all the way to the corner. Fish caught in 120 ft of water half way to corner. Good luck and blessings to all.

Same story for me over here. I got one on the surface iron but couldn't get them to take my baits. Spanish macs were easy to make.
