LJ 7/30
I was on the water around 6am and caught bait pretty easily. I was kind of in the middle of the pack heading out, and it seemed like everyone in front of me (and behind me) went south around the cove so I tried heading north and went pretty far out.
I got hit at about 8 to 8:30 but it was a quick grab and release which ended up killing my only greenback. I put a spanish mack on there and kept on going. At about 9 to 9:30 my clicker started screaming. I grabbed the rod, put it it strike, set the hook, and it was game on. I landed my first guy which weighted 16 pounds on the beach. I had ticket for the races today so I decided to work my way in. I put another spanish on there and was on my way. At about 10 I got hit again. This guy took some runs. He ended up weighting about 22 pounds on the beach. |

Nice fish! It was good to meet you today. I was out there with my buddy Alvin and we were all trying to make bait at the same spot and you caught a bonito. See you on the water some other time!
