Repaired kayak
Been looking into some kayaks I'm interested in. I found one super cheap but it has "2 professionally repaired" holes or cracks.. Is it worth it? Or will it be a constant issue?

Kinda depends on what brand kayak, where the repair is,
and who repaired it. |

Run, wait for Malibu parking lot sale. Or dsutter has a connect for brand new unused for real good price... so I've heard...

Bottom line. Ask yourself the following: Am I willing to gamble my $300.00 for a kayak with two repaired holes/cracks? Or save some more money and buy new and get a warranty.

That's a weird place to get a hole or crack. Did he gaff it?

Yeah, not getting the warm fuzzies on the double holes beneath the water line. $300, repairs, no mention of seat or paddle - thinking one of the well-loved packages that come through here often would be a better, and safer, bet. By the time you throw in a decent seat and paddle you could be over $500 |

The description read "rod holders punching threw during a tumble in the waves" I was seriously considering it but now I'm now I'm not sure.
