"all in one" fish finder mount
i just bought an elite 4hdi (thank you flemdog) and i need to use an arm mount to mount it on my malibu. i looked on youtube and found this: dude put his ff battery in a pelican box, then mounted the ff on the lid, and mounted the transducer arm on the side of the pelican box, and then put that box on a ram ball mount on a track. i like this set-up, but what are the cons?

that thing is pretty slick. and the reason i was looking at something like this is because i bought a malibu x factor and an x-13. i want to put the ff mount on the x factor for me, but my son prefers the x 13, and i would like to be able to switch it from one kayak to the other
