Thought I caught a world record....
Was out fishing some of our local rockfish with a shimano flatfall jig...and what do you know..? I hang a good one! Now granted this is not that big of a fish overall but for what it is....it's a GIANT! I can't say that I have ever caught one this big before...and I have caught about a million rockfish in my fishing carrer....
 It's a HUGE BARBERPOLE!!!! Not quite the all tackle world record of 3 pounds 3 oz....but pretty damn close...Mine weighed in at a respectable 2 pounds 8 oz !

That is a monster barber. Im curious how you were working the flat fall for rock fish? That had never occurred to me.
